At Irving Cares we strive to provide clients with services in a respectful and dignified manner without regard to race, color, gender, age, disability, religion or national origin. Identify and address the needs of the Irving community and partner with clients to develop solutions that lead to self-sufficiency.

Financial Assistance

Find help to pay rent, utilities, and prescriptions. We can help you get the assistance you need.

Food Pantry

We provide nutritious groceries to feed each member of the household three meals a day for a week. Food assistance is available 12 times a year.

Invest in Yourself

This program includes childcare, education, and employment services to get you back to work.

Employment Services

Job-seekers can learn job search techniques, interview skills, and resume preparation.

Education

The pathway to education is not the same pathway for every student. We will work with you, our partners to find that right path that fits your schedule, your goals and your path forward.

Our Impact

Irving Cares is a well-known community resource and has consistently been recognized for its excellent leadership and performance. Irving Cares exceeds industry standards with more than 80 cents of every dollar raised being reinvested in the community as a program expense. Irving Cares is considered a model agency by the North Texas Food Bank and annually passes their very thorough inspection of our facilities, products, and volunteer training.

Limits were changed so families may receive food up to nine times per year (vs. previous limit of six.) Since focus has shifted to programs there has been less demand for food assistance.
